Mitch Rolling, the owner of Blue Water Divers, is also an accomplished musician who plays three nights a week on Grand Turk. On two of those nights, he is joined by the High Tide band, featuring Zeus on the rip saw and Conchy (aka Conch Boy) on the djembe. The High Tide band performs extremely unique arrangements of many classic hits in addition to a variety of soca, calypso and reggae songs that are an integral part of the island culture. |

Captain Explorer Out-Island & Snorkeling Expedition

 Exhilarating boat ride, world class snorkeling and exploring uninhabited out-islands makes this an action packed expedition. Board a 38 foot hard bottom inflatable boat that will take you on a fast-paced ride to your snorkeling and out-island adventure. Only accessible by boat, Hidden Bay is surrounded by untouched coral reefs. Snorkeling gear and instructions will be provided. Encounter an abundance of tropical fish and a wide variety of healthy corals. After snorkeling, enjoy a hike to explore the old ruins on the island and the natural pools carved into the rocks along the shore line. Next take off again for another thrill ride as you cruise past Penniston Cay to view the interesting rock formations and the elusive nesting birds before heading up the coast of Grand Turk. Refreshing beverages will be served during your tour. |

CHUKKA - 4 x 4 Safari

 Experience the natural history and cultural heritage of Grand Turk aboard a safari-themed 4x4 F250. CHUKKA Dune Buggy Adventure

 Climb aboard a customized tubular frame, 2-person dune buggy to explore the Islands. Head down the narrow tracks that skirt the beach and rock coastline around the islands to the southeast side. Stop for a trek up to the bluff where you can capture the beautiful view of Gibbs Cay and other uninhabited Islands. Get back into your buggy drive to John Glenn’s Space Capsule and past the Salinas (salt ponds) on your way to the charming Cockburn town. Continue towards North Wells, where you may catch a glimpse of the endangered Pink Flamingos. |

CHUKKA- Horseback Ride & Swim

 Spend an afternoon embracing your outdoor spirit on this fun filled horseback adventure! Begin with a bus ride along the coast and across to the other side of the island. Upon arrival at the GT Indigenous Horse Shelter, you’ll mount your horse and go for a leisurely walk along the beach taking a view of the crystal clear Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards you guides will unsaddle the horses to prepare them for the swim. Sitting with a halter and water pad and riding into the sea for the experience of a lifetime. |

 The Grand Turk Cruise Center, with direct beachfront access, is a first-class facility nestled among nearly 14 acres of landscaped grounds. With convenient changing rooms, showers and lockers for cruise line guests, cruise center visitors also can swim either in the ocean’s sparkling waters or in one of the largest pools in the Caribbean, stroll along the idyllic beach, relax in a chaise lounge or covered beach chair, and even rent a private cabana for the day and enjoy a massage. Grand Turk Lighthouse
|
 The lighthouse was brought in pieces from the UK where it had been constructed in 1852. It has been restored and still works guarding the northern tip of Grand Turk, the capital island of the Turks and Caicos. The lighthouse and lighthouse keeper’s house is a prized historic site and is protected by the National Trust. The Lighthouse provides some shade, a picnic area and an excellent viewing spot for the whales in February and March. The lighthouse hill overlooks North Creek, an inland body of water or lake that a growing number of historians argue is the closest fit to the description that Columbus gave for the island that he first encountered on his 1492 voyage to the New World. |

Island Adventure

 Your knowledgeable driver/guide will provide you with cultural and historical information along the way. You will pass by the St Tomas Parish Church and the “salt pans”, evidence of Grand Turk’s salt-raking past. You will continue to famous Duke Street. As you drive along this quaint street lined with historical homes, your guide will provide fascinating information regarding the home’s history and colourful current and past residents. You will then arrive at Front Street located in Cockburn (pronounced co-burn), the heart of the Turks and Caicos capital. Here you will stroll along the street as your guide points out areas of interest including the Anglican Church, the Victoria Public Library and other historical buildings. You will then re-board your transport for the ride to Governor’s Beach, upon arrival you will be greeted by the friendly staff and you will be provided with complimentary snorkel gear and instruction on its proper use. John Glenn Exhibit

 Splashdown Grand Turk” is a 3,500-square-foot attraction celebrating the unique relationship of the American human spaceflight mission and its importance to Grand Turk’s history. Located on the south side of the Grand Turk Cruise Center, the free exhibit features amazing replicas unique to the Mercury space program, including a scaled 20-foot-tall Atlas rocket and a full-size, three-dimensional replica of astronaut John Glenn in spacesuit, and, of course, a detailed replica of the Friendship 7 capsule, which splashed into the Atlantic in 1962, a few short miles from the island of Grand Turk. Storyboards at the exhibit depict the accomplishments of the NASA space program and detail the differences in space equipment of yesterday and today while offering an overview of the current space program and future plans. |
