The Turks & Caicos continues to set a new standard in luxury development, and it’s expanding beyond the traditional base of the island of Providenciales. On the Tourist Board web site, you’ll find a new section called Featured Properties that offers an interactive map to highlight where some of the newest developments and investment opportunities are located.

Two new properties in particular are catching the eye of investors and luxury travelers, with the launches of projects on Dellis Cay and West Caicos.

Dellis Cay is a private island just 10 minutes from Providenciales that is being developed by Cem Canay of the O Collection. The island resort will be operated by The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and feature incredible accommodations and ownership opportunities, all designed by a team of world renowned designer and architects. Check out www.delliscay.com for more information.

Meanwhile over on West Caicos, The Molasses Reef project is well under way with an expected opening in December 2008. Featuring miles-long deserted white sandy beaches and easy access to some of the best diving in the Caribbean, it will be home to a deluxe Ritz Carlton Hotel and villas, as well a world class marina capable of handling mega yachts, and its own airstrip where mid-size private aircraft can land.
