Entry Requirements
US CITIZENS
Effective since January 8, 2007 all US Citizens traveling by air to the Turks & Caicos Islands are required by the US Government to have a valid US passport. Cruise ship passengers have also had to meet this requirement since June 1, 2009. For more on US travel requirements visit www.travel.state.gov/travel
CANADIAN CITIZENS
Visitors from Canada may enter the Turks and Caicos without a passport, if they meet the following conditions:
- Traveling (entry and departure) DIRECT from Canada into the Turks and Caicos
- Is carrying an original [or notarized copy] of their birth certificate
- Is carrying a valid government issued photo id
If the traveler does not meet all three of these requirements, they will be required to have a valid Canadian passport.
IMMIGRATION
All visitors must hold a round trip ticket.
Visitors are granted entry for up to 90 days; this is renewable one time only.
PASSPORTS
Immigration Regulations state that a visitor’s passport must be valid during the dates they intend to be in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Nationals of countries and territories not specified above who are lawful residents of the UK, US or Canada, or who are holders of a valid visa permitting their travel to any of those three countries, or holders of a Permanent Resident Certificate for the Turks and Caicos Islands, may be granted entry the Turks and Caicos Islands without a Turks and Caicos Islands visa.

LUGGAGE
For luggage allowance, individual airlines should be contacted.
CUSTOMS
Duty free goods that may be brought into the country include: 50 cigars, 200 cigarettes, 1.136 liters of spirits or wine and perfume for personal use.
