Once-in-a-Lifetime VIP Festival Vacation to be Auctioned Online
Los Angeles, CA (August 15, 2007) – The Turks & Caicos International Film Festival (TCIFF) has announced a charitable partnership with Artists for a New South Africa (ANSA) for its third annual event.  This is the first charitable partnership for the Festival which will auction online a Once-in-a-Lifetime VIP Festival Vacation to benefit ANSA.  TCIFF, held October 16-21, 2007, celebrates the fusion of cinema and music.

Festival Executive Director Jasmine Guy said, “I am proud of the work ANSA does for the South African community, using the power and influence of their collective name for the enrichment of a beautiful, yet struggling, people.”

“We at Artists for a New South Africa are honored and deeply grateful to be the charitable partner of this wonderful film festival.  The money raised will have a very real impact on our work to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa and in disadvantaged communities in the U.S.,” said Sharon Gelman, ANSA’s Executive Director.

“This support is especially meaningful, given that Jasmine Guy has been involved in ANSA since it began in 1989 and has remained dedicated to the cause and organization all these years,” said ANSA Co-founder and Board Member Blair Underwood.
