TURKS AND CAICOS, BWI (March 11, 2009)—The Turks and Caicos Tourist Board is proud to announce that Turks and Caicos will be featured on an upcoming episode of the Travel Channel’s ‘Sexiest Beaches’ series, scheduled to air, Thursday, April 2, at 10PM ET/PT.
‘Sexiest Beaches’ is one of the Travel Channel’s newest travel series starring former The Girls Next Door star Bridget Marquardt. Each show follows Bridget on her journey to some of the sexiest and most exotic beach destinations, sampling the best local cuisine, best fashion and best parties.
“We are pleased the destination will be included in the series ‘Sexiest Beaches’ ” said Ralph Higgs, director of tourism, marketing for the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board. “The Travel Channel is a prominent travel network and we are confident this episode will complement the natural beauty of our destination very well and help to generate interest in our islands.”
Known for her infectious personality and uncontainable curiosity, Bridget travels the world to experience mud bath sunbathing and flying lessons in Croatia; rolling Havana cigars in Georgetown; para-gliding in Malibu; shark hugging in Ocho Rios; and taking trapeze lessons on Venice Beach.
During the Turks and Caicos episode, Bridget finds adventure while soaking up rays on the pristine white sand beaches of Ambergris Cay and at Nikki Beach, enjoying a beachside bikini photo shoot, a pirate's cove and a full-moon bon fire that makes the days hot and nights even hotter.
Bridget’s ‘Sexiest Beaches’ series premiers, Thursday, March 12 at 10PM ET/PT, on the Travel Channel.
