Royal West Indies Resort Offers Every Third Night Free
September 17, 2009
Popular Beachfront Resort In the Turks and Caicos Islands Rolls Out Attractive Specials and New Management Team for Fall and 2010
PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands – September 17, 2009 – Royal West Indies Resort, an all-suite property on Grace Bay Beach in the Turks and Caicos Islands, today announced it has extended its third-night free offer until October, 31, 2009.  The promotion rewards travelers with a free night at this popular resort after each two nights they pay for, and can be applied to stays of any length.

In addition, the resort announced the appointment of Jeffrey Boland as its Managing Director.  Boland brings a background of more than 20 years in hospitality management to the Royal West Indies Resort, including extensive experience in the Caribbean market.

The special rate offer is available in all room categories at Royal West Indies – studio, one- and two- bedroom deluxe suites.  The resort features direct ocean view accommodations overlooking the famous white sands and turquoise water of Turks and Caicos.  The suites, ranging in size from 500 to 1500 square feet, include full kitchens, living areas and spacious patios.

“We realize the economic conditions have constrained people’s travel budgets so we are doing what we can to deliver ultimate value for a premium Caribbean holiday.  We have a long-standing track record of being the most-affordable luxury beachfront option in Providenciales and this promotion will certainly underscore our commitment to value in these challenging times,” said Jeffrey Boland, newly appointed Managing Director of Royal West Indies Resort.

Prior to joining the Royal West Indies earlier in the month, Boland was General Manager and Director of Operations at Seven Stars Resort in the Turks and Caicos. He was part of the operational set-up team at that luxury property for its opening in 2008.   He has a long track record of hotel experience both in North America and the Caribbean, including positions at Colliers International Hotel Advisory Group and JEM Hospitality International, both in Toronto, Canada as well as positions in Jamaica and Grenada. Boland has a bachelor degree in Hotel and Food Administration from the University of Guelph (Ontario, Canada); and an MBA from the University of Lincoln (Lincolnshire, UK).

Room rates at Royal West Indies start at $225 per night for a studio suite and include a welcome rum punch reception, free high-speed Internet access, and complementary use of bicycles, Hobie Cats and kayaks.
